The Barguzin Mountain Ridge occupies a third of the Eastern shore of Baikal. Its everage width is 50 km The height is about 2200-2600 m above sea level. In the picture: the central part of the ridge withing the upper part of the Pravaya Bolshaya Cheremshanaya river has a strongly pronounced Alpine relief.
