Комментарий к фотографии от автора: The Baikal water level has decreased just only for half a metre for the five centuries and after building of Irkutsk Hydro-Electric Station the water level approached to its original level. Maximum levels' amplitude is 256 cm for the last hundred years. Difference of the level on the whole water area can reach 1 metre. The highest water level is in August and September and lowerest is in March-April.
