From the summit of Zhima Mountain (1276 meters above sea level)there opens up a view to the eastern forest covered steep bank of an island. The summit of the mountain is covered with dense pine, larch and light spruce forest. The mountains break into Baikal with rocky precipicies overgrowned with the steppe vegetation. To climb this mountain will take a day.
