Not for mere chance this highly developed animal is called the "Baikal dolphin". But knowing a lot about the nerpa we will not be able to tell about their real life in Baikal depths. In the picture: nerpas on the rsting place of Tonkiy Island (the Ushkanie islands. Only some nerpas can lay on the rocks while moulting and just to warm in the sun.
