Having restored the genesis of the relief forms within Saint Nose Isthmus scientists came up to dessision that in the past Saint Nose Peninsula was an island. In the picture: in the center to the right - Lake Arangatui, in the center - bogs of Myagkaya Karga area, in the center to the left - Barguzin Bay. On the horizon - Primorskiy (to the left) - Baikalsky (to the right) mountain ridges. Below is the bed of the Barguzin river. The summits of Svyatoi Nos Peninsula are covered with clouds.
