Комментарий к фотографии от автора: The shore of Baikal at Cape Arul is famous for its ancient sites: groups of square stony masonries, defence constructions, burial places. In the ancient times the cape was an island. In the picture: ruins of the stony wall of ancient an Kurykan sentry post(according to one of the hypopheses a cult monument) on the upper part of the cape. A peeble spit and lagoon lake are seen behind the cape.
